Lookie what I found...

How funny! It's amazing what you find when you look through your bookmarked pages - I forgot I even had this blog - HA!

Now, I can really say WOW! It has been a very long time since my last post and so many more updates! I moved to Wichita, KS about a year and a half ago - Oh, and Piztro's (the restaurant in one of my former posts) is no longer here - it's now Sabor and wow, it's amazing! Okay, back on subject....I got engaged in October 2008 at a fabulous dinner at our first date local - Yia Yia's! How cute is he to remember?! Then, I became an aunt for the first time in January 2009 - what a precious little one ole' Payton is :) Then, I got married on Valentine's Day 2009 in Los Cabos, Mexico! We stayed at the Hilton Beach & Golf Resort and it was fabulous! For all of you future brides out there....this is the way to go! It turned out better than I could have ever imagined and was very low stress! Honestly, I have never seen a prettier destination/setup for a wedding - beautiful! We had a guest list of approximately 30 of our close friends and family - perfect! Oh, and if you are thinking of taking trip there - you must go early in the year to experience whale watching! I have never seen anything like it!

Since the wedding, I have become quite the little housewife - golfing with the ladies, soon to be cooking classes, taking care of Hubbs :), and enjoying every minute of it! Now, for the question that everyone seems to ask next, "what about kiddos?" - well, stay tuned....

Holy cow...it's been almost a year since my last post!

Okay, so much to post this time...I can't remember what all has happened in the last year! After reading my prior posts, it's interesting to see that I'm just now doing some of the things that I said I would do a year or more ago! I finally started my scuba open water training last night...tons of fun! I'm hoping to do my check dives on a fun vacation somewhere tropical...not the lake! Too bad I didn't do this sooner because I just got back from a vacation in Nevis, West Indies!! I won the trip through work which was even better...FREE! If you have a chance, it's a great place to have a relaxing tropical vacation. We stayed at the Four Seasons Resort, which was amazing from the moment we arrived until the moment we left...service was impeccable!

The week prior to that I got to experience a NYC trip like I never have before....Dinner cruise around the city to end with a fireworks display at the Statue of Liberty, amazing seats to see Wicked on Broadway, and a dinner with an unbelievable view of Central Park. Oh, and lots of shopping, of course!

On a smaller level, I've been spending a lot of time in Wichita, KS...surprisingly good town! Lots of great restaurants! If you spend some time there, hit Piztros (it's an interesting little Pizza Bistro with a great menu). Well, better run....work is calling!

Wedding off...

Well, the wedding is officially off...Who'd have thunk it? After 8 and a half years, we've decided to cancel for now and maybe forever. BUT, I'm still heading out to Vegas for the NON-bachelorette party or the "I'm single again" party. Whatever you want to call it, rest assured, it will be a party to remember!

Turks & Caicos, New York, Vegas here we come...

Yippee...the honeymoon is planned!!! 10 restaurants, 8 bars, 6 pools, one fantastic suite, and diving included??? What more could you ask for??? Did I mention diving??? I'm getting certified starting next month. Not all that excited about doing my check dives in a lake...bring on the ocean! Did I also mention that I'm claustrophobic??? This should be interesting!

So, as for NYC...Mike and I have decided to take a weekend trip for his first experience in the big city! Really he just had a plane voucher that had to be used before the end of the summer, so we decided that NY would be the way to go. However, the trip is turning into one expensive weekend when it was supposed to be our cheap trip...oh well, you only live once, right?

Finally, Vegas is about to be corrupted by a group of 13 women...look out Vegas, here we come! What's a bachelorette party without hitting sin city for one last hurrah???

This whole year is shaping up to be one of the best...what more could a girl ask for?

Busy, busy BEE....

Okay, so it's been like forever since I last posted, but so much has happened! After 8 years of dating "the man of my dreams"...guess what??? I'm finally engaged! So, he popped the question right before Christmas...what a surprise!!! So now I'm in the ultimate bridezilla mode...okay, not really, but the planning has definitely begun! The only thing left to plan...the honeymoon. If there are any bloggers out there with great honeymoon destination ideas, please feel free to comment. We could use all of the help that we can get!

Happy blogging...

Sorry for the delay...

Not that anyone reads my blog, but sorry for the delay in posting...
It's been one hell of a summer...to say the least! Don't worry, I won't spare the details. Well, I started back to school this fall...only 1 more year and that MBA is all mine! I'm heading to Hawaii with Mike, Drew, and Christie in 2 weeks and 1 day...so excited except for the fact that we are flying on Sept. 11! F-ing terrorists...they ruin all the fun! Hopefully , my life will get more interesting soon...so read on, read on!

Buyer's remorse...

So, I finally get into the new house. All moved in, but still so empty in such a big house! Can we say "buyer's remorse"??? What made me think that I needed such a change? I walked around last night just seeing dollar signs in my head of all the things that I still need to purchase!!! What a disaster! Oh well, at least I have the new mice to keep me company!
